Developing Climate-Resilient Design Standards
Preparing technical guidelines and recommendations for resilient water infrastructure based on global best practices.
This project supported the Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation (MWRI) in South Sudan to develop climate-resilient water infrastructure design guidelines and technical standards. Responding to the country’s increasing vulnerability to recurrent flooding and climate-related disasters, the initiative aimed to strengthen disaster risk management and enhance the resilience of water infrastructure to flood risks.
